Our Programs

Battlefords Boys and Girls Club is proud to offer a large variety of programs after-school, on the weekends, in the evenings, and on special occasions. Be sure to browse all of our programs available and register early if registration is required! Enjoy!

After School Programs
September through June – During the school months we offer after school programs in various locations throughout the city. These locations include our Main Site, EMBM and Bready Elementary.

Evening Programs
September through June – Each evening, Monday-Friday, we have planned programs and events that we run for the enjoyment and the empowerment of the youth that attend. We have many different programs that focus on many different things. We are sure to provide healthy snacks daily for the youth and many evenings of physical fitness.  This programming is offered at our North Battleford Main Site only*

Weekend Programs
September through June – On the weekends we provide cooking & nutrition as well as arts & crafts. We believe that it is important to provide healthy snack programs to our members to teach kids about the importance of making healthy eating choices. In addition, we want youth to learn how to cook easy, healthy meals and snacks, find and follow recipes and most importantly… EAT! For the more artistic and creative kids, we always have many crafts to make and create! Help us decorate the Club, or take stuff home for your bedroom, your door, your fridge, windows, and parents! Sometimes things may get a bit messy, so it is best not to wear your favorite clothes.

Supper Program
Four days per week, during the supper hour between 5:00pm-6:00pm we offer up to 30 members a free, awesome, delicious meal made available by various restaurants throughout the Battlefords. This allows us to serve a large number of youth in our community. Wednesday’s are Innovation Grub Club supper and Friday’s are Feed Me Friday’s Sponsored by Mid West Food Resources

Kids in the Kitchen Program
Here at the Battleford’s Boys and Girls Club main site, we offer a cooking development program that we call Kids in the Kitchen!  This is a 6 week program that runs Mondays from 4pm-6pm.  This program will teach the youth cooking skills, techniques and safe food handling practices. The youth will be making meals and baking to take home to their families. This program is partnered with Midwest Food Resource’s who is helping run the program. This program has no fee’s attached. If you are wishing to be a part of this program you must be a registered member due to allergies and sensitivities.  If you are interested in this program please contact the Battlefords Boys & Girls Club.
